Hi, I’m Molly—founder, maker, and proud chaos coordinator at Just Because Co.

I was born in the U.S., raised in Israel, and now I live in Parkville, Maryland. I’m a mom, a maker, a full-time realtor, and a full-time dreamer who runs on creativity (and probably too much iced coffee).

I’ve always had a thing for creating—whether it was music, design, or writing. I studied communication, worked in journalism, and eventually realized that I need to make things in order to feel like myself. It’s how I stay grounded, how I process the world, and honestly, how I stay sane.

Why I Do What I Do

Because I have to. Creating isn’t just something I do—it’s how I stay grounded. It’s how I process the world, how I manage my energy, how I feel joy.

When I make something—whether it’s a quirky sticker, a candle with attitude, or a handmade gift that makes someone laugh—I feel like I’m in my element. It brings me peace, focus, and a deep sense of purpose.

This shop isn’t just a business. It’s my therapy, my art, my way of being in the world.

What This Business Means to Me

Just Because Co. is about making things that spark joy, laughter, comfort, connection—or just a little bit of “oh my god, that’s so me.”

It’s for people who want something different. Something personal. Something made with heart and a little weirdness (the good kind).

I do my best to create sustainably, support local, and make things that feel intentional—not mass-produced or generic. Because small things matter. Thoughtful things matter. And giving someone a moment of delight or comfort matters.

Where I’m Headed

I’d love to grow Just Because Co. into a brand that feels like a friend.
I want to keep expanding into more handmade gifts, bold designs, and original creations that people actually want to keep, wear, or share. I want to be at more markets, more stores, maybe even build a small team of people who believe in this too.

Eventually? I dream of having a cozy creative studio with a little storefront—where people can come in, explore, laugh, and maybe leave with something that feels made just for them.

Things I’m (Mildly) Obsessed With

  • 🐈 Cats – If there’s a cat in the room, I’m talking to it before I talk to any human.

  • 🔪 Murder Mysteries – Books, shows, podcasts... if someone’s missing and there’s a suspicious neighbor, I’m in.

  • ☕ Coffee – I don’t drink it. I live it. Iced, hot, questionable at 3 p.m.—yes.

  • 🧼 Making Stuff by Hand – There’s nothing like turning raw materials into something magical (and maybe a little weird).

  • 🎨 Colors & Textures – I will absolutely stop everything to admire a good pattern or a perfectly ugly-cute color combo.

  • 🛍️ Tiny Shops with Big Personalities – Small business is my love language.

  • 🌙 Late-Night Ideas – All my best ideas show up when I should absolutely be asleep.
